Kuakata Buddhist Temple:
 
The Kuakata Buddhist Mondir is in front of the ancient well of Kuakata. This wooden temple was demolished a few years ago. In the temple, however, there are still eight Buddha statues made of ancient Ashtadatu, weighing about 4 mana.
 
Keranipara
 
Keranipara is the home of the small ethnic group of Rakhans in front of the Sima Buddhist temple. The main task of Rakhine women here is to weave cloth. The winter sheets made by Rakhine are quite attractive.
 
 
Mishripara Buddhist Temple
 
Mishripara, a village of Rakhines, is a small ethnic group about eight km from Kuakata beach. There is a big Buddhist temple here. The temple is said to have the largest Buddha statue in the subcontinent. Apart from this, the village of Amkhola is a little far from here, and the largest settlement of Rakhine people in the area.
